Part-Time Production Assistant

Dynamic portrait photography business seeking part-time wonder Production Assistant 10 hours a week, with possibility of more hours as we expand and grow.

 

The Production Assistant will support the owner/photographer by handling details of client print orders from retouching to final packaging.

 

Duties include:

  • retouching files in Lightroom and Photoshop

  • layout of albums with InDesign and Fundy software

  • tracking workflow of each client order

  • placing print and album orders online with various vendors

  • checking and wrapping print orders

  • portrait sessions on location and in studio environment on an as-need basis

  • assist with postcard mailings 4x/yr.

  • general office & file organization

 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience with photo retouching and Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Lightroom and InDesign.

  • Applicants must be highly organized, detail oriented, communicative, willing to learn and flexible.

  • Flexible schedule, mostly weekdays with occasional weekends, hours vary seasonally though busiest in spring and fall. Work in our fun, shared studio on Capitol Hill with possibility to work some hours from home.

  • Highly detail oriented

  • Very organized, prompt, responsible, communicative

  • Interest in portrait photography and children

  • Good sense of humor
